Galeries Lafayette Hospitality Intern
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor in the horology and jewelry sectors, represented by brands such as Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division functions as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. It also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. Louis Pion, with 70 retail locations across France and an e-commerce platform, offers a wide selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online presence, including bespoke jewelry creation services. The division also operates monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Provide exceptional hospitality to both French and international clientele with discretion, kindness, and respect.
- Manage customer queues, provide information, and organize appointments.
- Assist sales associates during product presentations.
- Welcome clients and offer refreshments.
- Observe and attentively respond to client requests.
- Contribute to the boutique's setup and maintenance of its presentation.
- Learn and implement security protocols within the boutique.
- Seeking a conventioned internship in a demanding and exciting environment.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills for establishing internal and external connections.
No prior experience required, but a keen interest in horology and jewelry is beneficial.
