Galeries Lafayette Event Project Assistant
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and fine jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, both integrated and affiliated. With 70 retail locations under its banner across France and an e-commerce platform, Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its proprietary collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and online presence, including bespoke jewelry creation services. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The Watch and Jewelry Division aims to captivate the curious, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of watches and jewelry.
- Assist the Luxury Marketing Manager with projects for Galeries Lafayette Royal Quartz Paris.
- Oversee operational aspects related to luxury activities.
- Manage event projects including soirées, photoshoots, and partnerships.
- Handle press product management.
- Support the creation of the watch and jewelry catalog as needed.
- Draft the internal luxury newsletter and prepare meeting materials.
- Conduct regular budget tracking and address network luxury needs.
- Ensure qualitative and quantitative follow-up of events with sales teams.
- Raise awareness among operational teams about customer loyalty.
- Monitor operational aspects of Trade Marketing animations with brand partners.
- Track performance of Trade Marketing animations and sales challenges.
- Aid in coordinating occasional Trade activations (CRM, events, print).
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Communication, preferably with a focus on luxury.
- Strong client orientation with a keen sense of customer relations.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
- Adaptability and quick problem-solving skills.
- Autonomous work ethic and excellent communication abilities.
- Creative aesthetic sensibility and trend awareness.
No specific prior experience required, but a background in luxury marketing or communication is advantageous.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Communication, preferably with a focus on luxury.
Fixed stipend aligned with the level of study: €1200 gross monthly for Bachelor's level, €1400 gross monthly for Master's level.
