Galeries Lafayette Event Project Assistant
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the French leader in the distribution of watches and jewelry through its brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. As the central purchasing entity for the jewelry and watch sectors for the 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these stores. With 70 retail locations across France and an e-commerce platform, Louis Pion offers a wide selection of watches and, more recently, jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, while also distributing its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and an online store. Additionally, the division operates mono-brand boutiques for renowned names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The division aims to captivate curious individuals, enthusiasts, and watch and jewelry aficionados alike.
- Assist the Luxury Marketing Manager with projects for the Galeries Lafayette Royal Quartz Paris brand.
- Oversee the operational follow-up related to luxury activities.
- Manage event projects, including soirées, press days, and partnerships.
- Handle press product management.
- Support the finalization and completion of the watch and jewelry catalog if needed.
- Draft the luxury newsletter for internal communication.
- Prepare meetings, including action plans, project follow-ups, and reports.
- Conduct regular budget monitoring.
- Address the needs of the luxury network.
- Ensure qualitative and quantitative follow-up of events with sales teams.
- Raise operational team awareness on customer loyalty.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Communication, ideally with a focus on luxury.
- Strong client orientation with a developed sense of customer relations.
- Ability to exceed customer satisfaction standards.
- Initiative-taking and task prioritization.
- Adaptability and quick problem-solving.
- Autonomous work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Trend awareness and aesthetic creativity.
No prior experience required, but a background in luxury marketing or communication is preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Communication.
Fixed stipend: €1200 gross monthly for Bachelor's level, €1400 gross monthly for Master's level.
