Galeries Lafayette Backend Developer

- Manage and optimize the Master Data Management (MDM) product based on Stibo Systems' STEP solution.
- Collaborate closely with business and development teams to design technical functionalities of the MDM system, considering existing architecture and performance optimization.
- Model and develop data integration and publication flows, ensuring data uniqueness, consistency, and quality.
- Oversee business workflows to streamline processes.
- Ensure data quality and integrity within the MDM system, managing incoming and outgoing data flows.
- Play a key role in process automation and continuous improvement of the MDM solution by proposing innovative evolutions.
- Work closely with business teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document processes, manage application versioning, and ensure continuous integration and deployment, aligning deliverables with expectations.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a stimulating and challenging environment.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify market trends and long-term challenges.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript (RhinoJS), REST, SQL, JMS, Kafka, pub/sub, and ESB.
- Agility and autonomy in work.
- Strong data orientation with the ability to strategically motivate and challenge choices using data.
- Excellent teamwork and cooperation skills.
Previous experience in a backend development role, particularly in environments that are fast-paced and demanding.
Developer training or equivalent experience.
Fixed annual gross salary between €50,000 and €60,000, paid over 13 months, with a stimulating variable component.
