Galeries Lafayette Deputy Logistics Director

- Oversee and coordinate all logistics activities at the Haussmann store.
- Implement the Logistics and Merchandise Flow Strategy, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
- Directly manage a team of 6 managers and indirectly oversee 140-150 staff members.
- Participate in recruitment and training processes for new employees.
- Set and align service objectives with departmental goals and ensure their achievement.
- Organize and coordinate operational tasks across responsible services.
- Facilitate inter-service weekly meetings.
- Ensure smooth relations between the team, Sales, Supply Chain, and Purchasing departments.
- Guarantee activity and resource planning based on activity fluctuations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team activities, including stock management, storage allocation, and merchandise flow scheduling.
- Optimize flow management, from delivery to storage and sales team availability.
- Ensure personnel and general expense budget adherence, monthly reporting, and budget construction support.
- Drive operational performance through KPIs and improvement plans.
- Conduct annual activity reviews and propose development strategies.
- Propose operational process optimizations to the Logistics and Merchandise Flow Director.
- Coordinate and participate in meetings with the Offer and Purchasing Department and Sales Management Committee.
- Prepare for Logistics Management Committee meetings with cross-functional topics and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles with proven team management experience.
- Adaptability to various situations.
- Project management with a focus on rigor and organization.
- Analytical and synthesis skills for cross-functional understanding.
- Strong communication skills with persuasive writing abilities.
- Excellent listening skills for collaborative environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
A minimum of 5 years in logistics or supply chain roles with team management experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent.
Compensation ranges from €65,000 to €70,000, depending on the profile.
