Galeries Lafayette Boutique Manager
The Horlogerie Bijouterie Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of watches and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. With a robust network of 70 retail outlets and an e-commerce platform, Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online store, offering bespoke jewelry creation services. Additionally, the division operates mono-brand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports. The division's mission is to captivate the hearts of watch and jewelry enthusiasts, from curious novices to passionate connoisseurs.
- Lead and develop the sales team through recruitment, training, and coaching, ensuring operational presence on the sales floor.
- Drive commercial growth by setting and communicating strategic action plans to achieve individual and collective budgetary objectives.
- Cultivate client knowledge and implement a clienteling strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate stock levels with headquarters and suppliers to meet sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with social regulations and adherence to group policies, procedures, and brand directives.
- Manage administrative operations, including accounting, HR, reporting, security, and after-sales services.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar role within the luxury service industry.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
- Strategic thinking and customer orientation.
- Ambitious and results-driven with a focus on impactful performance.
- Leadership skills to build and engage high-performing teams.
At least 2 years of experience in a comparable position within the luxury service sector is required.
Fixed salary between €40,000 - €45,000 over 12.5 months, with performance-based variable incentives.
