Galeries Lafayette Assistant Boutique Manager
The Horlogerie Bijouterie Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor of watches and jewelry through its distinguished brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the central purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multibrand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets and e-commerce platform, offers a curated selection of over 60 watch and jewelry brands, including its proprietary collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online store. The division also operates monobrand boutiques for Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, dedicated to captivating enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Lead and develop the sales team, recruiting, training, and coaching in collaboration with the Boutique Manager.
- Drive the commercial growth of the boutique by implementing strategic action plans and communicating them effectively to the team.
- Manage stock levels in coordination with headquarters to meet sales objectives and handle peak traffic periods.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience to foster client loyalty and build a qualified client database for exclusive events.
- Oversee administrative operations, ensuring compliance with social regulations and adherence to group and brand policies.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar high-end service role.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strategic thinking with a client-centric approach.
- Expertise in high-level service with a commercial mindset.
- Organizational skills with a focus on achieving sales targets.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury service industry.
Fixed annual salary between €32,500 and €35,000 over 12.5 months, with performance-based variable compensation.
Includes annual bonus, employee discounts, personalized onboarding, meal vouchers, full parking card coverage, and double pay for Sunday work.
