Galeries Lafayette Assistant Store Manager
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the French leader in the distribution of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail locations and e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, operating in both urban and airport settings. The division also manages monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports.
- Lead and develop the sales team through recruitment, training, and coaching in collaboration with the store manager.
- Drive the commercial growth of the boutique by implementing strategic action plans to meet budgetary goals.
- Coordinate stock levels with headquarters to achieve sales objectives.
- Ensure exceptional client experiences to foster customer loyalty and build a qualified client database.
- Manage administrative tasks including compliance with social regulations, group policies, and brand directives.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar role within the luxury service sector.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strategic thinking and client-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and a results-driven mindset.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within the high-end service industry.
Fixed annual salary between €35,000 and €40,000 gross over 12.5 months, with variable incentives linked to sales performance.
