Galeries Lafayette Assistant Store Manager
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor in the horology and jewelry sectors, operating under esteemed brands such as Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. As the central purchasing hub for jewelry and watchmaking for 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores across France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets and e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its network of 12 boutiques and online presence. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès. The Watch and Jewelry Division is dedicated to captivating the curiosity and passion of watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Oversee and enhance the performance of the sales team through recruitment, training, and coaching in collaboration with the store manager.
- Drive commercial development by implementing strategic action plans to meet budgetary objectives.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences to foster client loyalty.
- Manage administrative functions, ensuring compliance with social regulations and adherence to group policies and brand directives.
- Handle operational tasks including accounting, HR, reporting, stock control, after-sales service, security, and safety.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar role.
- Leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strategic thinking and customer orientation.
- Strong commercial acumen and result-driven mindset.
A minimum of two years in a similar capacity, demonstrating leadership and commercial prowess.
Fixed annual salary between €26,250 and €28,750 over 12.5 months, with variable incentives linked to commercial and individual performance.
Annual bonus based on objective achievement, employee purchase discounts, personalized onboarding support, and specialized training in the watch and jewelry sector.
