Galeries Lafayette Assistant Store Manager
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of watches and jewelry through its renowned brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets across France and an e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, alongside its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online store. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques for luxury names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Lead and develop the sales team, recruiting, training, and coaching in collaboration with the store manager to ensure operational presence and team engagement.
- Drive commercial growth by implementing strategic action plans and communicating them effectively to achieve both individual and collective budgetary objectives.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences to foster client loyalty and satisfaction.
- Manage administrative operations, ensuring compliance with social regulations, group policies, and brand directives.
- Oversee administrative tasks including accounting, HR, reporting, stock control, after-sales service, security, and safety, as well as handling disputes.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar role.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong commercial acumen and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, demonstrating leadership and commercial success.
Fixed salary between €25,000 and €26,250 over 12.5 months, with variable incentives linked to commercial and individual performance.
