Galeries Lafayette Assistant Boutique Manager
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French distributor of horology and jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. This division serves as the purchasing hub for jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg. Louis Pion offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry, ranging from accessible to premium, through 70 retail locations and an e-commerce platform. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands, both in urban settings and airports, with a network of 12 boutiques and an online store. The division also operates monobrand boutiques such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in department stores and airports, aiming to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
- Lead and develop the sales team in collaboration with the Boutique Manager through recruitment, training, and coaching, ensuring operational presence on the floor.
- Drive the commercial growth of the boutique by implementing strategic action plans and communicating them effectively to the team to meet budgetary targets.
- Manage stock levels in coordination with headquarters to achieve sales objectives and handle peak traffic periods.
- Ensure an exemplary customer experience to foster client loyalty and build a qualified customer database for exclusive events.
- Oversee administrative management of the boutique, ensuring compliance with social regulations and adherence to group policies and brand directives.
- Handle administrative operations including accounting, HR, reporting, security, and customer service issues.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a similar role within the luxury service sector.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
- Natural leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach.
- Expertise in high-end service and commercial acumen.
- Strong organizational skills and a results-driven mindset.
At least 2 years of experience in a comparable position within the luxury service industry.
Fixed annual salary between €38,750 and €45,000 over 12.5 months, with performance-based variable compensation.
