Galeries Lafayette Accounts Payable Specialist
The Watch and Jewelry Division of the Galeries Lafayette Group stands as the preeminent French leader in the distribution of timepieces and fine jewelry through its esteemed brands: Galeries Lafayette, Louis Pion, and Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz. Serving as the purchasing hub for the jewelry and watch sectors across 57 Galeries Lafayette department stores in France and Luxembourg, the division also manages multi-brand watch spaces in 40 of these locations. Louis Pion, with its 70 retail outlets and e-commerce platform, offers an extensive selection of watches and jewelry from over 60 brands, ranging from accessible to premium, including its own collections. Galeries Lafayette-Royal Quartz provides exclusive access to over 50 prestigious watch and jewelry brands through its 12 boutiques and online store. The division also operates mono-brand boutiques for renowned names such as Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Messika, Tudor, and Hermès in major department stores and airports, aiming to captivate watch and jewelry enthusiasts.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment of various cycles, including after-sales service (SAV) and general expenses.
- Reconcile and track SAV purchase invoices within the accounting software.
- Prepare and account for payments, ensuring reconciliation and analysis of supplier accounts.
- Ensure client reimbursements for SAV and maintain account 4191 reconciliation.
- Input general expense invoices by cycle using a new digital invoice processing tool.
- Analyze general ledger for label accuracy and account pertinence.
- Monitor technical and managerial approvals, following up with departments as needed.
- Prepare and account for payments, ensuring reconciliation and justification of supplier accounts.
- Input and reconcile expense reports, ensuring account justification.
- Assist in monthly reporting provision development and technical advancement of the SAV software, CEGID.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Cegid.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Advanced Excel and general IT proficiency.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within the retail sector, with familiarity in ERP systems such as Cegid.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Fixed annual salary between €30,000 - €32,000, paid over 12.5 months, commensurate with experience and skills.
