Fresh Associate Manager, Packaging Development

1. Develop and qualify packaging solutions for the Promo category, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics, consumer usability, manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, and market demands.
2. Support the conceptualization, initiation, development, validation, and implementation of new and improved packaging designs and processes.
3. Drive operations cost savings, efficiency initiatives, and quality investigations for continuous improvement.
4. Manage technical milestones within project timelines and troubleshoot technical issues across suppliers, plants, and distribution.
5. Collaborate with Marketing and Design to assess feasibility for new packaging initiatives and concepts.
6. Validate artwork and ensure packaging component colors meet design expectations.
7. Conduct package testing procedures to support effective design and implementation of new packaging technologies.
8. Manage external vendor relations to review project status and elevate technical solutions.
9. Attend set assembly startups to ensure design and function execution.
10. Lead sustainability initiatives and drive engineering change initiatives.

1. BS/BA degree in Package Engineering, Technology, Science, or a related engineering field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Packaging Development, preferably in Gifting.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of packaging materials and processes.

1. Exceptional project management skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
2. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for interaction with internal partners and external vendors.
3. Proficient in PC skills, including MS Office software, and capable of building presentations in Excel and PowerPoint.
4. CAD literacy is advantageous.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Packaging Development, preferably in Gifting.

BS/BA degree in Package Engineering, Technology, Science, or related engineering field.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $105,000 USD.
