Fred Quality Control Assistant (Apprenticeship)

1. Perform visual and instrumental quality checks on finished jewellery and repeatable mid-range jewellery under the supervision of product referents.
2. Carry out intermediate controls such as weighing, component and sub-assembly testing, and other technical verifications.
3. Prepare items for inspection (presentation on trays, reconditioning) and manage physical handling of product during control operations.
4. Record daily inspection results into the quality tracking database and contribute to the drafting and maintenance of quality documentation (e.g. control procedures).
5. Participate in supplier quality meetings: share inspection reports, follow up on corrective actions and improvement requests.

1. Currently enrolled in a HBJO (jewellery-making) or Gemology vocational programme, or equivalent jewellery training.
2. Strong manual dexterity and ability to inspect small items visually and with a loupe.
3. Demonstrable rigour, organisation and attention to detail.
4. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
5. Curiosity and a strong appetite for learning; English proficiency is a plus.

Entry-level — suitable for students in training or candidates with little to no prior professional experience in quality control; on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Vocational diploma or current enrollment in HBJO (jewellery-making) or Gemology training.

One day remote work per week after 3 months' tenure (manager approval required); meal vouchers (€10 per working day, 50% employer contribution).
