Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate cost of goods for all finished products based on expected quality.
- Understand cost breakdowns and conduct value analysis of projects.
- Identify key issues with potential for significant gains or dependency risks.
- Identify and manage potential reindustrialization needs based on product margins and future volumes.
- Conduct tenders and negotiate with suppliers on costs, loss rates, and payment terms.
- Define contractual terms for supplier engagement based on company objectives.
- Regularly update standard costs in SAP in collaboration with marketing and finance.
- Implement cost management for new products in the Product Lifecycle Management tool.
- Analyze spending by supplier and conduct tenders to reduce costs or ensure fair pricing.
- Contribute to supplier selection and maintain a panel of preferred suppliers.
- Measure and manage purchasing performance, ensuring commercial terms are adhered to.
- Maintain a clear view of supplier cost performance and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and volume objectives.
- Ensure the Supply Chain is responsible and adapts to new legislative, group, or sector standards.
- Responsible for Supply Chain RJC certification and associated improvement plans.
- Update supply chain risk assessments and conduct necessary due diligence.
- Contribute to group initiatives to reduce supply, social, or environmental risks.
- Represent Fred operations in LVMH Life 360 working groups and manage Cascade tool indicators.
Qualifications
- Engineering, business school, or equivalent degree.
- 7 years of professional experience, with experience in jewelry being an advantage.
Skills
- Rigor and reliability.
- Strong analytical and quantitative data understanding.
- Ability to synthesize quantitative issues for decision-making.
- Excellent relationship skills to foster supplier partnerships.
- Adaptability to sector changes.
- Curiosity for technological advancements.
- Proficiency in English; Italian is a plus.
- Proficiency in IT tools.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Education Requirements
Engineering, business school, or equivalent.
