- Lead and manage a team of quality controllers, organizing and scheduling their work.
- Train and support quality controllers in their professional development, conducting individual assessments and performance evaluations.
- Oversee and manage the Quality budget, including travel and tooling expenses.
- Define quality milestones for new product development projects and validate prototypes and pre-series production.
- Conduct 'life series' meetings with Methods and After-Sales Service to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Establish a quality assurance system with suppliers, including evaluations, audits, and performance monitoring.
- Define quality requirements and create a quality charter for suppliers.
- Regularly visit suppliers for audits and to strengthen relationships.
- Identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality effectiveness.
- Raise awareness and involve all company teams in quality issues.
- Serve as the key contact for suppliers regarding quality matters.
- Stay informed on regulatory and normative developments and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Supervise and centralize information on norms and engage in technological and regulatory monitoring.
- Advanced degree in quality, engineering, or jewelry training.
- Additional workshop training is advantageous.
- Proficiency in quality control techniques (metrology, visual inspection, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data and identify improvement areas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, organization, and rigor.
- Proficiency in computer tools (Office Suite, quality management software).
- Curiosity and interest in new technologies and their application in quality.
Minimum 5 years of significant experience in a similar role within the jewelry, watchmaking, or high-quality sectors (e.g., automotive, high-tech). Experience in team management and transformation support is required.
Advanced degree in quality, engineering, or jewelry training.
