Francis Kurkdjian Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising
Maison Francis Kurkdjian, a distinguished luxury fragrance house founded in 2009, operates under the prestigious LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton umbrella, the world's preeminent luxury conglomerate. In North America, its products are available at high-end retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, as well as exclusive boutiques in Miami and Houston.
- Support the Manager, Visual Merchandising in design layout creation, proposal presentations, and VM production for events and in-store experiences.
- Review production materials and prototypes with vendors for campaigns, pop-ups, and window displays.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Events, and Training teams on visual merchandising requests.
- Partner with Operations Manager and Store Design on POSM forecasting for future campaigns and store openings.
- Coordinate with production vendors on VM tool forecasting and ordering.
- Create VM distribution lists for US, Canada, and Mexico.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Develop visual presentations for HQ, North America team, and retailers.
- Adapt visual merchandising designs to regional market needs using Adobe Suite.
- Layout VM schematics for new store openings using Sketchup.
- Manage travel schedules and expenses for production support.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 20% quarterly).
- 6 - 7 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, with a focus on design production and implementation.
- Proven ability to uphold exceptional visual standards and execute brand direction.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a high sense of ownership.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketchup.
- Fluency in French is advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years in visual merchandising, preferably within luxury or design-focused environments.
Salary range of $80,000-$85,000, with flexibility based on expertise and performance.
