- Manage the receiving and counting of stock items, ensuring accurate data entry into inventory systems.
- Oversee all shipments, transfers, and consignments, adhering to company protocols.
- Organize and maintain stockroom orderliness, ensuring items are packed and unpacked according to policy.
- Verify inventory accuracy through physical counts, investigating discrepancies and making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink rates within company standards.
- Store items systematically for easy accessibility in various storage areas.
- Label stock items with identification tags, numbers, or lists for team usability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, and storage areas, including monthly deep cleaning of the warehouse.
- Inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Assist and direct other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers as needed.
- Dispose of or return damaged or defective items to vendors.
- Coordinate with couriers for incoming stock pickups or deliveries to designated locations.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
- Order and maintain all necessary supplies, assessing needs from contracts, purchase orders, and requisitions.
- Ensure optimal after-sales service, accuracy, and integrity.
- Collaborate with production to manage defective and damaged items.
- Utilize systems effectively to process repairs and liaise with local suppliers for efficient service.
- Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
- Contribute to and maintain VM stock, communicating arrivals and unused props/mannequins to VM teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a luxury boutique environment.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with basic accounting knowledge.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in inventory database management; experience with Retail PRO is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, dedicated, and conscientious with the ability to set and achieve goals.
Minimum of 5 years, including at least 2 years in a luxury boutique environment.
