Fendi Demand and Distribution Planning Manager

- Compile and analyze monthly demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons.
- Review historical sales trends and research demand drivers to prepare forecast data and develop statistical forecast models.
- Develop sales plans and maintain Open-to-Buy (OTB) coordination with Fendi Americas Merchandising and Supply Chain Team.
- Manage inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis at quarterly and seasonal reviews to inform future product lines.
- Drive weekly business discussions with merchandising team and country leaders to identify selling trends.
- Develop standardized reports and processes to enhance team productivity.
- Analyze quarterly, seasonal, and annual shipments and collaborate with Supply Chain to secure additional inventory.
- Allocate merchandise to retail stores and e-commerce according to launch plans and inventory levels.
- Coordinate merchandise transfers to fulfill stock needs and support events.
- Communicate picking and shipping priorities to the warehouse and troubleshoot inventory shortages.
- Analyze selling performance across countries and support store opening/closing plans.
- Present targets and initiatives to strategically drive business growth.
- Build seasonal product plans and perform in-season and post-season hindsight reporting.
- Develop financial targets and provide planning mentorship for projections and buys.
- Identify product and delivery flow opportunities to drive assortment strategies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a luxury retail or wholesale environment, including roles such as Planner, Allocator, Buyer, or Retail Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Proficiency in retail math and business intuition, including markup, margin planning, and inventory efficiency measures.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic problem-solving abilities and influence senior leaders.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Anaplan forecasts is a plus.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in a luxury retail or wholesale environment, with roles such as Planner, Allocator, Buyer, or Retail Business Analyst.
The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities.
