1. Execute month-end entries including prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets management.
2. Oversee monthly closings and reporting processes.
3. Post and reconcile IFRS16 leases.
4. Prepare monthly profit and loss accounts and conduct variance analysis.
5. Compile monthly balance sheets and liaise with consolidation teams in Paris.
6. Conduct thorough review and reconciliation of all balance sheet balances.
7. Input data into the consolidation and reporting package using the Group tool.
8. Perform reporting analyses including cash flow, debt, and corporation tax.
9. Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors.
10. Prepare VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
11. Reconcile and clear concessions accounts, cash, and credit card sales payments.
12. Provide operational support to stores and other head office departments.
13. Participate in ad hoc projects such as digitalisation of petty cash and stock take initiatives.

1. Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent certification.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts preparation, VAT, and corporation tax.
3. Experience in the retail industry.

1. Strong reconciliation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
2. Proficient in UK GAAP and IFRS.
3. Experience with JDE and SAP is desirable.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
5. Ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
6. French language proficiency is advantageous.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounts preparation, VAT, and corporation tax within the retail industry.

Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
