Fashion Group Finance Manager

- Lead a team of accountants and manage outsourcing teams across multiple APAC locations to oversee daily accounting operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and period-end financial closing in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor updates in accounting standards, group policies, and local legislation to ensure team awareness and regional standardization.
- Act as the primary liaison with the business planning & control team for month-end closing, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Serve as the focal point for all internal and external auditors and tax agents, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
- Review financial statements and tax returns prepared by tax agents, ensuring timely submission to local authorities.
- Drive process improvements and digitization initiatives in collaboration with project teams and various stakeholders.
- Identify and implement enhancements to day-to-day processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and motivate team performance, providing necessary training and coaching, and reviewing team deliverables.
- Assist the Head of Financial Accounting and Reporting in resource planning to meet future business growth and statutory demands.
- Undertake special assignments and ad hoc duties as required.
- University degree in Finance or Accounting, professional qualifications preferred.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Solid expertise in finance processes including AP, AR, GL, and inventory accounting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-intensity environment.
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines with high-quality deliverables.
- Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably in the retail, FMCG, or fashion industry. Experience in a Shared Service Center is advantageous.
University degree in Finance or Accounting, professional qualifications preferred.
