ETA Metrology Specialist

ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse is a part of the Swatch Group, the largest watchmaking group in the world, known for its 17 prestigious brands and highly specialized production companies in watchmaking and other industrial sectors. The Bettlach factory in Switzerland is dedicated to the technical production of plastic materials for the Swatch Business Unit, utilizing the latest technologies to manufacture diverse components for the Swatch Group's attractive products.

1. Define appropriate measurement equipment ensuring optimal reliability.
2. Conduct component measurements, analyze results, and provide feedback to quality technicians.
3. Define measurement methods and appropriate setups.
4. Ensure integration of measurement tools in production.
5. Monitor calibrations and update the database.
6. Support the realization of Capabilities (MSA).
7. Master GD&T dimensioning.
8. Train and support colleagues on measurement equipment.
9. Provide support for FSTR files.
10. Establish and standardize measurement programs on Keyence, Hexagon, and Vertex.
11. Create usage instructions for measurement equipment.
12. Manage multiple continuous improvement projects simultaneously.

1. Basic technical training (e.g., certified polymechanic) with experience in CNC measurement technology.
2. Ideally, additional training as a quality technician TQ1.

Experience in CNC measurement technology and interdisciplinary activities close to the field.

Basic technical training (e.g., certified polymechanic) with additional training as a quality technician TQ1 is ideal.
