ETA Metrology Specialist
ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse, a distinguished entity within the Swatch Group, is renowned for its precision in crafting Swiss Made watches, movements, and horological components. As part of the world's largest watchmaking conglomerate, Swatch Group encompasses 17 prestigious brands and numerous highly specialized production companies. The Bettlach facility in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland, is dedicated to the technical production of plastic materials for Swatch's Business Unit, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to create diverse components for the Group's attractive products.
- Define appropriate measurement equipment ensuring optimal reliability.
- Conduct component measurements, analyze results, and provide feedback to quality technicians.
- Establish measurement methods and appropriate measurement setups.
- Ensure integration of measurement tools in production.
- Monitor calibrations and update the database.
- Support the execution of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) capabilities.
- Master GD&T dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Train and support staff on measurement equipment.
- Provide support for FSTR dossiers.
- Develop and standardize measurement programs on Keyence, Hexagon, and Vertex.
- Create usage instructions for measurement equipment.
- Manage multiple continuous improvement projects concurrently.
- Technical training background (e.g., certified polymechanic) with experience in CNC measurement technology.
- Ideally, continued education as a quality technician TQ1.
- Analytical and results-oriented work approach.
- Strong assertiveness and patience.
- Ability to handle stress effectively.
- Knowledge of industrial production processes.
- Proficiency in German and French, with English as an asset.
Experience in CNC measurement technology and interdisciplinary fieldwork.
Technical training background, such as a certified polymechanic.
