ETA Calibration Specialist
ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse, a distinguished entity within the Swatch Group, is renowned for its production of Swiss-made watches, movements, and components. As part of the world's largest watchmaking conglomerate, Swatch Group encompasses 17 prestigious brands and numerous specialized production companies. The facility in Bettlach, Canton of Solothurn, is dedicated to the Swatch Business Unit's plastic technology production, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to manufacture various components for the Swatch Group's attractive product range.
- Manage and calibrate measuring instruments to ensure reliability and traceability.
- Organize, monitor, and conduct calibrations, ensuring compliance with quality and conformity standards.
- Assign EC inventory numbers to each testing device.
- Register devices in the measuring instrument database (GMS).
- Label devices with calibration stickers and predefined due dates.
- Monitor the validity of measuring instruments.
- Ensure traceability of measuring instruments through calibration activities.
- Organize and schedule device calibrations.
- Conduct internal calibrations according to ETA procedures.
- Create protocols for internal calibrations.
- Remove non-compliant devices and ensure their revision or replacement.
- Perform minor maintenance on devices.
- Execute measurement programs using 1D to 2.5D measuring instruments.
- Technical training in a relevant field (e.g., Polymechanic or Watchmaker EFZ or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4 years of confirmed experience in measurement.
- Proficiency in basic IT tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Analytical thinking and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to assert oneself and make decisions in a demanding environment.
A minimum of 4 years of confirmed experience in the field of measurements is required.
Technical training in a relevant field (e.g., Polymechanic or Watchmaker EFZ or equivalent).
