System Architect

EM Microelectronic is a leading provider of innovative wireless IC and module solutions for IoT applications, specializing in Bluetooth beacons and custom wireless modules for the wearable and IoT markets.

1. Collaborate with customers and team members on product specifications and device concepts/architecture.
2. Perform state-of-the-art ultra-low power design implementation.
3. Support the transition from design to high-volume manufacturing, working closely with process development engineers to meet product requirements.
4. Ensure the product meets the requirements, passes the qualification, and satisfies customer needs.
5. Work with teams across sites in the US, Prague, and Bangkok, and other Business Units to improve synergy on methodologies and share best practices.
6. Establish and promote good practices, design bricks, and rules for development and validation.

1. Master's degree (or higher) in Electronic Engineering.
2. Several years of low-power electronic design experience.
3. Expertise in low-power hardware design and architecture, particularly with wireless IoT chipsets and low-power sensor technologies.

1. Low-power HW design/architecture experience with integration of the latest in wireless IoT chipsets and low-power sensor technologies.
2. Expertise in Digital & Analog electronic design.
3. Experience and understanding of PCB technology, mechanical and electrical design, materials selection, and embedded software.
4. Good understanding of industrialization and production constraints.
5. Experience in design of RF circuits including antenna matching and filter networks.
6. Hands-on lab experience with the latest state-of-the-art equipment.
7. Experience with worldwide wireless product certification.
8. Strong customer interaction skills and experience.
9. Strong understanding of wireless systems and communication protocols, such as Bluetooth Low-Energy.

Several years of low-power electronic design experience with a focus on wireless IoT chipsets and low-power sensor technologies.

Master's degree (or higher) in Electronic Engineering.
