DFS Business Analyst Intern

1. Analyze weekly and monthly sales by product category, clientele, and key performance indicators for management.
2. Conduct additional analyses on brand productivity and the performance of temporary events.
3. Participate in monthly closures, including sales reconciliation and variable cost analysis.
4. Analyze variations against reference periods during closures.
5. Contribute to the budgeting and strategic planning process, preparing reports and recommendations for improvements.
6. Organize and conduct inventory counts.
7. Analyze discrepancies and collaborate with store and logistics teams for investigations.
8. Establish and monitor inventory control KPIs.
9. Create reports using Power BI for stock analysis.
10. Develop reports using data visualization tools (DAX, SQL).
11. Automate tools for business case reviews and performance analyses.

1. Advanced degree (BAC +4/5) with ideally some experience in Finance or as a Business/Data Analyst.
2. Strong analytical thinking and ability to go beyond numbers.
3. Dynamic, meticulous, curious, and capable of working independently.
4. Proficient in Excel; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) is a plus.
5. Desire to work in a dynamic environment.
6. Strong team spirit.
