- Develop and maintain a comprehensive global production plan based on sales forecasts, historical data, and store orders to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Determine sales forecasts from data, historical records, and orders, adjusting and maintaining these forecasts to align with business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, production, and operations teams to align production plans with commercial goals.
- Utilize the MRP system to manage inventory levels, track orders, and generate production reports.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the MRP system, identifying and resolving any functional issues.
- Implement and execute MRP system improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
- Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and implement stock control measures to prevent shortages and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Produce regular reports on service rates, inventory levels, and order status.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, merchandising, operations, procurement, and logistics.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of MRP systems and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
