- Execute handcraft production of small leather goods (wallets, cardholders, clutches, small accessories) to exacting luxury standards.
- Interpret patterns and technical drawings; cut, skive, stitch, assemble and finish components using both hand and machine techniques.
- Perform meticulous edge finishing, glazing, burnishing and hardware setting to ensure flawless aesthetic and durability.
- Conduct rigorous quality control at each stage and rectify imperfections to meet atelier specifications.
- Maintain and sharpen tools, calibrate sewing machines and uphold workshop safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Collaborate with design, prototyping and production teams to refine techniques, improve manufacturability and meet delivery timelines.
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to preserve artisanal methods while increasing consistency.
- Vocational qualification or diploma in leathercraft, maroquinerie or related trade — or equivalent demonstrable experience in luxury leather goods production.
- Proven manual dexterity and eye for detail with a track record of producing high-quality small leather items.
- Ability to read technical patterns and follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong commitment to artisanal standards, patience for fine handwork and a pride in finish.
- Good teamwork and communication skills within a multidisciplinary atelier.

Several years of hands-on experience in a luxury leather goods atelier or equivalent specialist workshop, with demonstrable competence producing small leather accessories to high-end quality standards.
Vocational diploma or apprenticeship in leatherworking/maroquinerie, or equivalent professional training; on-the-job apprenticeship experience is acceptable.
