- Understand organizational objectives and align decisions with company priorities and values.
- Develop personal sales and clienteling strategies in collaboration with the management team.
- Meet customer needs through solution-oriented and forward-thinking approaches.
- Build credibility and trust as a personal fashion advisor by communicating fashion awareness and trends.
- Create positive impressions with the store team and customers through elevated business attire.

- Influence customers’ purchase decisions with a balance of patience and assertiveness.
- Take ownership and commitment for delivering results, being aware of personal and store metrics.
- Flex personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store financial results.
- Demonstrate persuasive, confident, friendly, and genuine service skills and selling behaviors.
- Discuss product features and build sales by suggesting appropriate add-on items.
- Follow up with customers consistently to influence and close sales.
- Develop product knowledge skills and remain aware of current collections.
- Demonstrate knowledge of competition and apply it to building sales and customer relationships.
- Be sensitive to customers’ needs and tailor approach by reading cues.
- Build lasting and loyal relationships with customers.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards.
- Meet or exceed personal productivity goals.
- Complete daily operational tasks including maintaining store standards and visual merchandising.
- Adhere to all retail policies and procedures including POS, Operations, and Loss Prevention.
- Leverage Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts.
- Replenish inventory on sales floor as needed.
- Process shipments and transfers according to Coach standards and timeframes.
- Maintain SKU integrity and Cashwrap organization and cleanliness.
- Conduct email/name capture and accurately complete transactions.
- Create a lasting impression by thanking the customer and giving them a reason to return.
- 1-3 years of previous selling experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred.
- Possess current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad/laptop and Mobile POS.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team.
- Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stock room.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to five pounds and occasionally up to fifty pounds.
- Adaptability and flexibility to change.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
1-3 years of previous selling experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
