Christian Dior Visual Merchandising Trainee

- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team for seasonal launches and in-store rotations.
- Manage prop inventory and ensure accurate cataloging at off-site storage facilities.
- Coordinate shipments with warehouses and maintain shipment tracking from Headquarters.
- Ship and track Visual samples to Paris.
- Organize and log the use of Visual Merchandising Ready-to-Wear samples, including maintaining the prop and sample closet.
- Maintain the Visual Merchandising Calendar.
- Oversee the Intranet database, including floorplans, contact lists, and store hours for all Dior locations.
- Catalog and post photos of recent installations and new store openings.
- Create master PowerPoint presentations to assist with in-store display zoning.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet various business needs.
- Adapt to changing priorities and urgent tasks in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising team.
- Full-time availability for a 12-month program, Monday to Friday, 9-6 pm, with occasional overnight shifts for launches and events.
- Minimum of 6 months prior experience in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize and meet fast-paced deadlines while remaining adaptable.
- Positive attitude and ability to build strong team relationships.
At least 6 months of prior experience in a related field is required.
The position offers a salary of $20 per hour, with potential eligibility for the company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
