- Monitor and manage fabric orders, confirmations, deliveries, and invoices.
- Calculate material requirements and oversee dispatches to manufacturers, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Update order, reception, and fabric requirement spreadsheets with proficiency in Excel.
- Adhere to and manage budget constraints.
- Codify materials within the PLM Centric system.
- Oversee dyeing processes and maintain fabric documentation.
- Gather information from suppliers regarding fabric pricing, technical sheets, and eco-responsibility.
- Negotiate prices and technical modifications with suppliers as needed.
- Support fabric developers by liaising with suppliers during peak periods.
- Higher education in textiles, fashion, or engineering (e.g., ITECH, ENSAIT, IFM).
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in fabric development or sourcing, preferably in a high-end or luxury environment.
- Proficient understanding of fabric families (wool, cotton, silk, technical materials) and textile suppliers.
- Professional proficiency in English; Italian is advantageous.
- Mastery of PLM tools, Excel, and Outlook.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Team spirit, curiosity, and product sensitivity.
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive in managing priorities and coordinating across teams.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in fabric development or sourcing, ideally within a luxury or high-end environment.
Higher education in textiles, fashion, or engineering.
