Christian Dior Temporary Operations Associate

- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
- Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
- Accurately process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages according to company policies.
- Support compliance with company policies regarding safekeeping of funds, property, and record-keeping procedures.
- Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
- Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Complete price changes within the boutique.
- Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise when necessary.
- Solve problems and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity in the receiving area.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary.
- Previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.
- Effective handling of receiving operations and merchandise.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
- Proficient in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in operating necessary equipment including phone systems, inventory-control systems, and sensor-tag removers.
- Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.
Previous experience in retail stock, shipping, or receiving is required.
