1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
4. Support compliance with company policies and standards regarding safekeeping of funds, property, and record-keeping.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
7. Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
9. Complete price changes within the boutique.
10. Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise when necessary.
11. Solve problems and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity.
12. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
13. Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary.

1. Minimum 3 years of retail stock/shipping/receiving experience.

1. Proficiency in handling receiving operations and merchandise.
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
3. Ability to accurately complete documentation and process information through computer systems.
4. Capacity to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Competence in operating necessary equipment, including phone systems and inventory-control computer systems.
6. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
7. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.

A minimum of 3 years in retail stock, shipping, or receiving roles is required.
