1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions impacting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
4. Support compliance with established company policies regarding safekeeping of funds, security, and record-keeping.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate effectively with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
7. Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
9. Complete price changes within the boutique.
10. Assist in packing or wrapping customer merchandise as needed.
11. Provide solutions and suggestions to enhance service and productivity in the receiving area.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
13. Participate in store meetings and training seminars.
14. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

1. Ability to handle receiving operations effectively, including proper handling of merchandise.

3. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
4. Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.

6. Capability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control systems, and office equipment.
7. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.
