1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages according to company policies.
4. Support compliance with company policies regarding safekeeping of funds, security, and record-keeping.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
7. Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
9. Complete price changes within the boutique.
10. Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise when necessary.
11. Solve problems and make informed suggestions to improve service and productivity.
12. Participate in store meetings and training seminars.
13. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

1. Minimum 3 years of retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.

1. Effective handling of receiving operations and merchandise.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Organizational and follow-through capabilities.
4. Ability to read, count, and write for accurate documentation.
5. Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
6. Adaptability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems and inventory-control systems.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in retail stock, shipping, or receiving operations.
