1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Accurately process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors (RTVs), chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
4. Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, security, and record-keeping procedures.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate with central distribution and/or the corporate inventory control department.
7. Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
9. Complete price changes within the boutique.
10. Pack or wrap customers’ merchandise as necessary.
11. Solve problems and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity in the receiving area.
12. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
13. Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary.

1. Previous retail stock/shipping/receiving experience.

1. Ability to handle receiving operations effectively, including proper handling of merchandise.
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
3. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
4. Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems.
5. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to operate all necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and sensor-tag removers.
7. Flexibility to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures, including heavy lifting.

Previous experience in retail stock, shipping, or receiving is required.
