1. Ensure the proper fit of garments through precise tailoring.
2. Address customer inquiries regarding alterations, fit, repair, cleaning, or care.
3. Mark garments accurately for tailoring purposes.
4. Perform sewing alterations within the designated schedule.
5. Press garments to maintain their pristine condition.
6. Repair garments as necessary to uphold quality standards.
7. Maintain an orderly tailor shop and ensure supplies are stocked.
8. Ensure all equipment, including sewing machines and steamers, are well-maintained.
9. Utilize proper telephone etiquette for customer interactions.
10. Communicate customer requests to management effectively.
11. Contribute to problem-solving and service enhancement in the tailor shop.
12. Organize and store customer merchandise neatly.
13. Participate in store meetings and training sessions as required.
14. Adhere to designated work schedules and company policies.

1. Previous experience as a tailor, seamstress, or fitter.
2. Ability to operate necessary equipment such as sewing machines and pressing tools.
3. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy garments.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards.

1. High-quality workmanship in alterations and repairs.
2. Accurate garment marking and pinning for alterations.
3. Understanding of fit issues and ability to recommend solutions.
4. Knowledge of garment care instructions.
5. Outstanding customer service skills.
6. Effective communication and listening abilities.
7. Time management in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 5 years of experience in tailoring, seamstress, or fitting roles.

Salary range of $35-$38 per hour, plus bonus eligibility.
