Christian Dior Senior Product Compliance Lawyer

- Establish and maintain a structured legal watch on international regulations applicable to various product categories including textiles, leather, footwear, small leather goods, jewelry, children's products, accessories, furniture, and packaging.
- Monitor the evolution of technical and environmental standards such as REACH, RoHS, Eco-design, CE marking, environmental labeling, and the AGEC law.
- Identify new obligations related to the brand's market presence in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.
- Provide recommendations during the product development phase to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Advise creative, product development, and industrial teams on labeling, marking, composition, and the use of regulated materials and substances.
- Address operational queries from supply chain, production, and quality teams regarding product commercialization in new markets.
- Establish and update technical files and declarations of conformity for each product family.
- Verify the accuracy and consistency of information on labels, packaging, and communication materials.
- Participate in the validation of marketing and communication materials to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Develop and deliver training modules for operational teams including creation, product development, purchasing, quality, marketing, and industrial sectors.
- Draft practical guides, checklists, and internal guides tailored to the needs of various departments.
- Organize dedicated workshops to present major regulatory changes and share best practices.
- Act as the main internal contact during administrative or customs inspections in France and internationally.
- Prepare necessary documentation for external inspections and audits.
- Assist in managing potential product-related disputes and customer litigations in collaboration with the brand's lawyers and other members of the Ethics and Compliance team.
- Analyze customer complaints related to compliance and propose corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with the CSR team to integrate environmental and societal issues into product compliance processes.
- Participate in internal and external working groups (federations, sectoral committees) to represent the brand.
- Propose and implement digital tools to better manage compliance and secure traceability.
- Master's degree in Law, ideally in Business Law, Consumer Law, or Environmental Law with a specialization in Product Compliance or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury, fashion, or retail sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international regulations (EU, US, Asia, Middle East) related to consumer products.
- Appreciation for CSR and sustainable development issues.
- Bilingual in English and French; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
- Attention to detail and precision
- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration with creative and technical teams
- Analytical skills and practical sense for communicating complex topics to non-legal teams
