1. Research and identify new trim and accessory options, staying updated on current trends and market innovations.
2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive trim library, including material specifications, pricing, and supplier information.
3. Collaborate with designers to understand trim needs and provide technical guidance on material selection and construction.
4. Work with product development teams to ensure trims meet performance and durability requirements.
5. Source trims from approved suppliers, negotiating pricing and lead times to meet project goals.
6. Manage trim samples and approvals, ensuring all trims meet quality standards and are consistent across production runs.
7. Troubleshoot trim-related issues during the development or production process.
8. Maintain accurate records of trim usage and costs.
9. Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards, such as safety and environmental requirements.
10. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide updates on trim development progress.

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in trim development.
2. Experience working at a global trim supplier or brand is highly desired.
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and data management systems such as CENTRIC PLM.
4. Knowledge of essential languages: Italian, French, English.

1. Strong know-how of trim application to support aesthetic, functional, technical, and commercial needs.
2. Good knowledge of textile trims and hard trims as well as trim physical properties and performance testing.
3. Excellent technical knowledge of zip componentry.
4. Negotiation skills.
5. Ability to anticipate problems, offer solutions, and address issues with materials.
6. Outstanding attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Collaborative and team-oriented.
9. Ability to cope with change in a fast-moving energetic environment.

Extensive experience in trim development, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years in the field.
