Christian Dior Retail Merchandising Manager - Women's Footwear

- Drive the performance of the women's footwear category, focusing on growth objectives and sell-through rates.
- Act as a liaison between the Business Unit and regional teams, effectively communicating global strategies and gathering market insights.
- Coordinate collection cadence with cross-category themes and ensure alignment with Supply Chain teams.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to synchronize merchandising strategies.
- Contribute to collection briefs by analyzing current sales, conducting competitive analysis, and synthesizing regional needs.
- Monitor key business indicators and implement action plans with regional teams.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Product Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail, and E-commerce teams to optimize product launches.
- Oversee store openings and optimize assortments based on delivery schedules.
- Propose opportunistic and permanent restocking strategies.
- Ensure pricing balance across currencies by monitoring currency fluctuations and competitive pricing.
- Define assortment and clustering strategies for each collection.
- Organize and manage showrooms, estimate total volumes, and assist in central pre-purchases.
- Update purchasing tools and store segmentation, and participate in OTB construction and monitoring.
- Lead meetings with regional buyers to review assortments and quantities, and adjust market strategies.
- Validate quantities per reference by region and define the permanent offer.
- Master's degree in Merchandising, Luxury and Fashion Management/Marketing, Retail, or Wholesale.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Retail Merchandising or Buying roles.
- Experience in team management.
- Advanced retail and numerical acumen.
- Strong sensitivity to fashion and luxury sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
- Dynamic, quick, autonomous, and proactive.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, organizational, and initiative-taking skills.
- High level of rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and autonomy.
- Curious, open-minded, with strong communication, listening, and observational skills.
Minimum of 10 years in relevant roles within the luxury fashion industry.
Master's degree in a relevant field.
