Christian Dior Product Development Assistant - Men's Footwear

- Monitor the development of collections and prototypes, from initial sketches to final production.
- Coordinate prototypes between the Paris headquarters and Italian factories, managing daily communications and logistics.
- Ensure prototypes meet quality standards and update the database with received items.
- Standardize products and oversee material validation processes.
- Draft and update collection plans with technical information.
- Develop tracking tools to optimize departmental workflows.
- Create summary documents for management detailing product specifications, materials, and variations.
- Manage and archive collections and prototypes.
- Conduct competitive analyses focusing on shapes, materials, trends, and techniques.
- Perform legal studies to ensure model validity and protection.
- Collaborate daily with the creative studio, merchandising, press teams, and Italian counterparts.
- Assist in preparing internal meetings, including product selections and merchandising research.
- Organize and oversee logistics for fashion shows, showrooms, and events, ensuring model conformity and managing transport.
- Prepare and update look lists for shows and presentations.
- Track invoices and update budgetary spreadsheets.
- Analyze product references by collection.
- Previous similar professional experience required
- Strong knowledge of footwear
- Sensitivity to the luxury and fashion industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Basic skills in InDesign and Illustrator
- Fluency in English and basic Italian
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dynamic and proactive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Entry-level experience in a similar role is mandatory.
