1. Manage biweekly multistate payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws.
2. Process new hire onboarding and update employee transactions using UKG/UltiPro.
3. Audit payroll reports for accuracy and provide necessary revisions.
4. Oversee timekeeping processes using the Kronos system, ensuring accurate tracking and payment of hours.
5. Maintain payroll systems databases, including Ulti-pro, Core HR, and Kronos.
6. Prepare reports via UKG Business Intelligence by running queries and analyzing data.
7. Assist the Senior Payroll Manager in preparing communications and training materials.
8. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and Kronos-related matters, resolving discrepancies.
9. Ensure compliance with Employment Authorization Document requirements.
10. Process monthly bonuses, commissions, and retail sales incentives.
11. Perform monthly audits between HRIS and payroll systems.
12. Collaborate with the HR Controlling Team on payroll-related inquiries for monthly closings.
13. Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare required statutory filings.
14. Partner with the shared service center team regarding biweekly payroll transactions.
15. Provide payroll-related data for audits and legal requests.
16. Complete verification of employment inquiries.
17. Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for payroll processes.
18. Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

1. Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-state company with a database of 700+ employees.
2. Retail experience required.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including vLookup and Pivot tables.
4. Familiarity with multi-state payroll laws and compliance.

1. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
2. Strong organizational and planning abilities.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
5. Experience with Kronos and UKG-UltiPro systems is advantageous.
6. Familiarity with a shared services model is a plus.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.

Salary range of $80,000 – $90,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility.
