Christian Dior Packaging Engineering Intern — Methods & Continuous Improvement

- Benchmark packaging standards and operational practices with other production units (perfume, powders & lipsticks, cosmetics manufacturing) to identify best practices for standards governance.
- Conduct a situational analysis of current practices across multiple stakeholders to detect dysfunctions and identify improvement levers.
- Define a roadmap of fundamental standards for the production unit aligned with safety, business and human‑factor challenges.
- Lead continuous improvement projects (SMED, 5S, flow optimisation) to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support daily performance‑improvement routines to identify, refine or implement business processes.
- Design, monitor and analyse performance indicators for the Methods activity to evaluate the impact of implemented actions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams during standards implementation to ensure homogeneous practices across the production unit.
- Raise team awareness of deployed changes to secure adoption and sustain improvements.
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school with a specialization in production, industrial engineering or equivalent.
- Available for a six‑month internship and able to work full‑time on site in Chartres.
- Rigor and attention to detail for document management and data analysis.
- Strong analytical aptitude and ability to structure information clearly.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse operational stakeholders.
- Curiosity, initiative and a demonstrable interest in proposing process improvements.
- Outcome‑oriented mindset with an affinity for Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
