- Oversee the accuracy of shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory, including verification of purchase orders and auditing validation reports.
- Maintain an organized stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including safekeeping of company funds and property.
- Train, coach, and manage associates in operations tasks such as POS procedures, return procedures, and security protocols.
- Monitor the accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor (RTV) processes.
- Ensure security measures are in place and facilities comply with safety codes.
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Organize and manage all back-of-house operations.
- Lock and secure the store, ensuring compliance with opening/closing procedures.
- Assist with payroll management and scheduling, ensuring adherence to payroll budgets.
- Resolve issues affecting store service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Provide and inspire outstanding customer service.
- Minimum of 3 years of retail stock associate experience with an operations background.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise boxes.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards.
