- Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring the safekeeping of company funds and property.
- Train and manage associates in operational tasks, including POS procedures, return procedures, and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor processes.
- Ensure security measures are in place and facilities comply with safety codes.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
- Coordinate communication between the store and central distribution or corporate inventory control.
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records.
- Organize and manage back-of-house operations.
- Ensure compliance with opening, closing, and security procedures.
- Assist with payroll management and scheduling, adhering to payroll budgets.
- Address and resolve issues affecting store service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Exercise judgment and discretion in daily store operations.
- 5+ years of retail store management experience with a strong operations background.
- Ability to work full-time, including varied hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in managing store operations, including payroll and customer service.
- Ability to produce and maintain workforce records and documentation.
- Competence in operating POS systems, inventory control systems, and other office equipment.
- Capability to develop and train workforce effectively.
- Skill in adjusting priorities and managing time in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellence in providing customer service.
- Ability to maintain consistent standards for the workforce.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years in retail store management with a focus on operations.
