- Accurately process all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
- Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
- Ensure accurate processing of inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages.
- Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property.
- Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
- Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Complete price changes within the boutique.
- Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise as needed.
- Solve problems and make informed suggestions to improve service and productivity.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in handling receiving operations and merchandise.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read, count, and write to complete documentation accurately.
- Competence in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems and inventory-control systems.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in inventory management or a related field is required.
The position offers a salary range of $21-$24 per hour, plus bonus eligibility, contingent upon skills and experience.
