1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Accurately process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors (RTVs), chargebacks, transfers, and damages based on company policies.
4. Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, security, and record-keeping procedures.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
7. Participate in inventory and cycle counts, and assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
8. Assist in completing price changes within the boutique and in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise.
9. Help solve problems and make informed suggestions to improve service and productivity in the receiving area.
10. Comply with all company policies and procedures and participate in store meetings and training seminars.

1. Previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.
2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

1. Proficiency in handling receiving operations and merchandise.
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
3. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
4. Competence in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
5. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
6. Capability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and sensor-tag removers.
7. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.

Minimum of 3 years in retail stock, shipping, or receiving roles.
