Christian Dior Merchandising Manager

- Lead and manage the business strategy and assortment planning for four product categories: Women Accessories, Baby, Maison, and Perfumes.
- Conduct performance analyses and identify growth opportunities and risks to implement action plans that enhance business and collection performance.
- Collaborate in the development of Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans in conjunction with Supply Chain and Business Units.
- Oversee the purchasing process for new products from showroom preparation to launch, ensuring alignment with retail assortment strategy.
- Define and manage the permanent product offering tailored to various European markets, communicating opportunities to headquarters.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to manage sales forecasts.
- Engage in weekly and monthly performance reviews with Business Units, discussing ongoing actions, competitive studies, and market trends.
- Coordinate with European Support Teams to execute action plans and maximize launch performance, including Visual Merchandising, Training, and Marketing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients, stores, and competitors through regular store visits and communication with local merchandisers.
- Manage store openings and pop-up events.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in merchandising.
- Dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with top management and retail teams.
- Analytical, meticulous, and organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong knowledge of fashion and retail industries.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising is required.
