- Develop and implement a comprehensive merchandising strategy for the men's category that aligns with the company's overall business objectives by identifying market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Create and maintain a seasonal merchandise plan, including assortment planning, pricing strategies, and annual event activities.
- Manage the open-to-buy (OTB) budget for the men's category by working closely with the Planning and Finance team.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory levels and maximize sell-through rates.
- Manage and lead a team of merchants, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to inform central product development and merchandising decisions.
- Work closely with marketing, visual merchandising, and e-commerce teams to ensure a consistent brand message and customer experience.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Partner with Boutique Team to gather feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance and production teams to identify and address any quality issues within the category.
- Minimum 15 years of merchandising experience with at least 5 years in men's category in fashion brands.
- Proficient in both oral and written English.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Willingness to work under dynamic environments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to lead a team and work cross-functionally.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools.
- In-depth understanding of the local fashion market and commercial acumen.
- Strong communication skills to work closely with various stakeholders.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in merchandising, with significant exposure to the men's category in fashion brands.
