Christian Dior Men's Footwear Merchandising Assistant Intern

- Support the Men's Leather Goods and Footwear Merchandising Department in developing successful commercial strategies in alignment with Dior's quality standards.
- Implement and monitor the strategic plan and budget for the footwear category.
- Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics such as sell-out, sell-through, and best sellers by category, region, and store.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports by product category.
- Propose action plans by category in collaboration with regional teams and supply chain.
- Define product lifecycle stages including permanent, carry over, seasonal, and markdown.
- Identify best-selling products and market opportunities by category.
- Centralize market feedback on recent collections and future needs.
- Coordinate regional needs including delivery, reorders, and stock rebalancing.
- Visit Paris boutiques to optimize visual merchandising and product placement.
- Interface with departments such as Retail Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, and E-Commerce.
- Participate in showroom periods by creating and drafting analyses on sell-in, best sellers, and KPIs.
- Prepare purchase presentations including core assortment matrices and product photos.
- Develop buying tools and strategies, including core assortment and buying rules.
- Coordinate regional purchasing activities including open-to-buy, assortment by core/cluster/wave.
- Enrollment in a Business School or Master's program specializing in Fashion.
- Previous internship experience in luxury fashion is preferred.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and Outlook Package (PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Qlik, Cognos, and Business Intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Attention to detail, flexibility, and dynamism.
No prior professional experience required, though previous internships in luxury fashion are beneficial.
Currently pursuing a degree in Business or Fashion Management.
