Christian Dior Knitwear Development Manager - Haute Couture

- Conduct research on yarns and raw materials.
- Initiate and oversee trials and prototypes with Italian and French manufacturers.
- Monitor fittings and alterations.
- Coordinate with the Artistic Direction and Haute Couture production teams.
- Create and update collection materials, including technical sheets and collection plans.
- Manage budgets and manufacturing costs for orders.
- Handle administrative tasks such as purchase orders and invoice tracking.
- Support the development of high-end knitwear products as needed.
- Technical fashion school education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in knitwear product development.
- In-depth technical knowledge of garments and components, especially knitwear.
- Strong affinity with fashion and luxury, with a keen awareness of trends.
- Fluency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quick adaptability to industry-specific software.
- Expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Autonomy, flexibility, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication, listening, and observational skills.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry.
Technical fashion school education or equivalent.
